Founder & Vinyasa & Deep Stretch teacher

I was born and raised in Prague, Czech Republic. I feel extremely fortunate to have been bought up in a very athletic family. My sister and I were both raised with sport and physical activity being a big part of our lives. After studying psychology at University, I realized that sport is as much mentally satisfying as it is physically. To me it’s about connecting with how you feel after doing exercise, mentally and physically. The realization that you feelmore confident and positive, should give you the motivation to continue to do the exercise that you enjoy most on a consistent basis. The sports I participated in growing up were predominantly tennis and skiing in the beautiful Czech mountains. As soon as I graduated from high school, I got certified in teaching both Tennis and Skiing. I then moved to Dubai where I first started dabbling with Yoga and its philosophies. Soon it became an obsession for me, it was then clear that I wanted to share my passion, knowledge and experience with others. I got certified as a 200RYT, specializing in Vinyasa Flow. In 2019 I realized that I cannot find a studio in Dubai that would offer me all that I need, combining me two biggest passions – working out and yoga. I started working on Shimis and created a completely new concept of yoga. A very dynamic practice happening in a specially designed environment – the Box – creating an unique atmosphere for your yoga and workout in one. I'm fascinated with how I can integrate my psychology degree into my yoga classes. Life is full of ups and downs, and we can't control certain situations in life, but we can control our bodies to a degree and make sure stress, anxiety and overthinking don't make us unhealthy and dominate our thoughts. My desire and key focus is to make people feel mentally and physically well balanced when leaving one of my classes. I want everyone to feel great, stress-free and able to better deal with anything life throws their way. "The key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let go." I can't wait to see you on the mat!
